Jack Mino is a very close friend who I met in Seattle sometime around 1982. Jack has now moved back to Massachussets with his wife, Dotty, and two sons, Jake and Jessie. He currently teaches at Holyoak Community College. Jack and I have been on some incredible trips together including Mt. Rainier, Glacier Peak, Mt. Baker, Ruth Mountain, Mt. Skuksan, Eldorado Peak, Mt. Daniel, and most recently a Hurricane Ridge trip.
Jack has also been on many other climbs, not only in the Pacific Northwest, Massachussetsa and New Engald, but also in Canada and New Zealand where he spent extended time exploring with Dotty and their children. He still is an active climber and just heard as of June 2006, he was headed to Mt. Shasta. Hopefully we will climb again in the Adirondacks or the White Mountains.
