My name is Steve Collins* and I have been intimately involved with the desktop publishing world since 1985. And the website publishing world is just another extension of that. The exception being that any changes needed in your documents can be immediately rendered without more printing and distribution costs.

I was raised just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylnavia and moved to Seattle, Washington in 1976 right after I graduated from college. Mountain climbing was my thing then and I have climbed many summits in the Cascades and Olympic Mountain areas as well as in the Adirondacks in New York State.

I initially got into computers when I owned my landscaping company. It quickly became apparent that I liked working on the computer more than landscaping and desktop publishing became my third artistic outlet along with photography and gardening.

I have also had experience with real estate as a Realtor^® with Coldwell Banker for about 5 years and as a Boeing employee for just over 6 years. But desktop and web publishing have endured so this is now my full time job. I have gone to school at South Seattle Community College to hone my web coding skills. There always seems to be another computer language to learn!
