I was raised in a suburb of Philadelphia called Oreland, Pennsylvania, and went to The Pennsylvania State University where I graduated with a degree in Forest Technology. I moved shortly thereafter to Seattle, Washington, where I spent a very happy 28 years of my life.
I owned a landscaping business, worked with Coldwell Banker, and then The Boeing Company. I spent many of my Seattle years as a mountain climber, photographer, and gardener. These hobbies further developed my passion for nature and the great outdoors.
I am not sure when my fascination for printed media came to be, but memories still survive of reading quality books and magazines and wishing I could do the same somehow. My first computer was purchased in 1984 and the passion continues today.
In June of 2004, I moved from Seattle, Washington to Rochester, Michigan to be closer to my girlfriend's family and a bit closer to my own in Philadelphia. I am currently working independantly as a web designer and desktop publisher.
